Feathers Everywhere!

World's biggest fashionistas started feather trend last year that continues to outshine any other fashion tendency this year too. Feathers embellish outfits, dresses, collars and add some luxury to jewelry, bags and skirts. They stand for femininity, high style and classiness.

Some of the most famous fashion designers incorporated feathers into their collections, e.g. Christian Dior, Lanvin, Alexander McQueen, Marchesa, Versace and so on. Style icons such as Blake Lively, Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kim Kardashian are huge feather freaks. According to number of feather outfits Jennifer Lopez wore, it seems like she's seriously "infected with feather flu".

My humble opinion is that feathers look the best in nude & pale pink color. That combination is really a statement of extravagance, girliness and glamour.

One of the most famous fashion bloggers Anna Dello Russo is also a feather lover.

 You know you can't go unnoticed with feathers. How to pull out this trend? Treat feathers like sequins. Wear them, don't let them wear you! Feather items are a statement in themselves, so you should tone down the rest of your outfit. For example, if you're wearing a feather dress, let your shoes, accessories and makeup be 'calm' and simple. Go for neutral shades for lips and eye makeup and bun hairstyle or loose curls, so you actually accentuate just one part of your look.

Biggest feather fanatics use them even as hair extensions, nail embellishments and fake lashes! Yes, it does look great but not for everyday look. If you want to glam up for a special occasion, then it is absolutely fine to add some feathers to your hairstyle and makeup.
